WHAT IS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

A Chamber of Commerce is a non-governmental, non-profit organization of members that represents the interests of those members, who are businesses, organizations, individuals, and professionals in a specific geographic area. Its primary goal is to promote economic growth, foster a favorable business environment, and improve the quality of life in our community through creating a stabilized economy.

A Chamber of Commerce is not a government agency — we are an independent, membership-based organization. While we engage with the broader community, our programs and services are designed for and funded by our members, whose dues allow us to operate. Membership is voluntary and open to businesses, individuals, nonprofits, and educational institutions. In return for membership, members receive exclusive benefits, advocacy, and resources. If you’re interested in learning more about what we can do for you as a member, please contact us.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF OUR ORGANIZATION

Advocacy: The Chamber acts as a voice for its members-advocating for opportunities and initiatives that support economic development, success for existing businesses and job creation.
